{"id":17,"date":"2026-04-29T09:09:41","date_gmt":"2026-04-29T09:09:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iiclnetwork.org\/?p=17"},"modified":"2026-05-12T08:14:53","modified_gmt":"2026-05-12T08:14:53","slug":"membership","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iiclnetwork.org\/?p=17","title":{"rendered":"Membership"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Membership<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Leaders of international churches based in Finland, registered as religious communities or associations, as well as leaders of different language groups belonging to local native churches, ministries and Christian organizations with a foreign background, or natives who lead immigrant churches or ministries are eligible to join the network, if they accept the Network\u2019s Manual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Eligibility requires proof of involvement in any of the above activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Membership requests can be submitted to the network leadership via different channels.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Membership decisions are made by existing network members during joint meetings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A leader who may join the network refers to any individual affiliated with a Protestant Christian tradition who holds a recognized leadership role, including: pastor, evangelist, prophet, teacher, apostle, bishop, church elder, language group leader, ministry leader, Christian organization leader or director, board member, missionary in Finland, or a native leader of&nbsp;immigrant churches or ministries&nbsp;in Finland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Join the network free of charge, and receive support and services freely.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why join the network?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Many of us are navigating life and ministry in a new and unfamiliar context.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We need one another\u2019s support and encouragement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Together, we can stand with and care for one another.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaboration enables us to serve the Lord more effectively.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>United, we can represent and advocate for the communities we lead.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We can act as a bridge between local and international churches.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you need assistance with church registration, finding a place of worship or baptism, immigration-related matters, accessing ministry resources, or obtaining practical guidance and opportunities, we are here to help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are experiencing loneliness in ministry or facing burnout, we encourage you to reach out. You do not have to face these challenges alone. Together, we can walk through difficulties, support one another, and, with God\u2019s help, find a way forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>If you are part of the international community in Finland and hold a leadership position as described above within a native or immigrant church, ministry, or any Christian organization\u2014or if you are a native Finn leading an immigrant church or ministry\u2014and would like to join the IICL Network, please complete the following form.
